CYNTHIA BARRERA is a veteran of Spanish-language media. She has worked as a radio host (1450AM Miami) and as a live television producer at HITN in New York and for America Teve personalities Maria Elvira Salazar and Oscar Haza in Miami. She produced three feature-length films about Cuba and has line produced the pilot episodes of the webseries Mommy Mafia. and the acclaimed short Solstice. Cynthia has a master’s degree in urban studies from Colmex University in Mexico City. Her idea of fun is teaching A.P. Spanish and sociology to high schoolers in Brooklyn, NY.

LISANDRO PEREZ-REY is an award-winning writer, editor and director in the world of marketing and content promotion. He currently makes digital and social media content for various brands including SYFY, and NBC. Perez-Rey is also a life-long independent creator, making short films, tv pilots, tv specials, Youtube franchises and documentaries. His trilogy of feature-length bilingual documentaries about Cuba (Más Allá del Mar, La-FabriK, and Those I Left Behind) were broadcast on PBS affiliates nationwide.

Most recently, he completed the short urban fantasy “Solstice” which is making its way now through the film festival circuit. It’s the first installment in the Hotel Netherland series which is adapted from a novella he wrote in 2019 about a quirky family who lives in an enchanted apartment building. Perez-Rey lives with his wife, daughter and fuzzy dog Andy in Brooklyn, NY.
